Your manuscripts belong to you. We analyze narrative structure — we never store, share, or train on your creative text.
1. Information We Collect
Manuscript Data
When you use AI-powered features, portions of your manuscript are sent to our servers for processing. Text is held in memory only during analysis and is never permanently stored on our servers. Only structural metadata (word counts, scene markers, entity relationships) is retained.
Project Metadata
We store structural data about your projects: chapter/episode counts, character relationship graphs, foreshadowing maps, version history metadata, and narrative integrity scores. This data contains no original prose.
Account Data
If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo. We do not access your Google Drive, contacts, or other Google services.
Technical Data
We collect standard technical data: IP address (anonymized within 24 hours), device type, OS version, app version, and error logs via Sentry.
2. How We Use Your Data
- Provide AI-powered structural analysis features
- Sync project metadata across devices (when signed in)
- Process subscription payments via LemonSqueezy
- Diagnose and fix technical issues
- Generate anonymized, aggregated insights about narrative patterns
Your manuscripts and creative text are never used for AI model training. Anonymized structural statistics (e.g., average chapter length by genre) may be used to improve our analysis algorithms.

5. Local Data (Desktop App)
haenomi stores your manuscripts and project files locally on your device. This data is under your control and is not automatically uploaded to our servers. Only structural metadata is synced when you use cloud features.
If you uninstall haenomi, your local project files remain on your device unless you explicitly delete them.
6. Your Rights
- Access: Request a copy of all data we store about you
- Deletion: Request deletion of your account and all associated data
- Export: Export your structural data at any time from the app
- Correction: Update your account information at any time
- Withdraw Consent: Opt out of analytics and non-essential data collection
To exercise these rights, email privacy@haenomi.com. We respond within 30 days.
7. Children's Privacy
haenomi is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will promptly delete it.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy periodically. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 14 days before taking effect.
