1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using haenomi ("the Application"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Application.

2. Description of Service

haenomi is a professional desktop writing application that provides narrative structure tracking, version management, foreshadowing detection, and character arc analysis. The Application is distributed as a desktop application (macOS, Windows) and requires an internet connection for AI-powered features.

haenomi is a structural analysis tool, not an editorial service. Analysis results are algorithmic assessments and should not be treated as professional editorial advice.

3. User Accounts

To access paid features, you must create an account via Google Sign-In. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

4. Subscriptions and Pricing

  • Free Trial: 14-day full-feature trial, no credit card required.
  • Subscriptions: Monthly recurring payments processed via LemonSqueezy. Plans start at $29/month.
  • Cancellation: You may cancel at any time. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.
  • Price Changes: We will notify you at least 30 days before any price increase.

All prices are in USD. LemonSqueezy acts as our Merchant of Record and handles tax collection where applicable.

5. Your Data and Privacy

Your manuscripts and creative work remain entirely yours. We do not claim any ownership or license over your content. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your data.

Core principle: "We store structure, not story."

6. Intellectual Property

You retain all intellectual property rights to your manuscripts, stories, and creative content. haenomi retains rights to the Application software, algorithms, and structural analysis methodologies.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Application
  • Share, redistribute, or sublicense your account or license key
  • Use the Application to process content that infringes on others' intellectual property
  • Attempt to circumvent subscription restrictions or rate limits

8. Limitation of Liability

The Application is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any loss of data, creative work, or revenue arising from the use of haenomi. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Refunds

Please refer to our Refund Policy for details on subscription refund eligibility and process.

10. Modifications

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Seoul, Korea.
